Competition Format
- Each team is guaranteed at least 7 regular season games.
- Win = 3 pts | Draw = 2 pts | Loss = 1 pt | Forfeit = 0 pts.
- Each game consists of 4 quarters, 10 minutes each.
- Running clock throughout, except during timeouts; clock stops during dead balls in the last 2 minutes of Q4.
- Ties at the end of regulation in the regular season — no overtime; both teams receive 2 points.
- Playoff overtime: 2 minutes; if still tied, a golden free throw decides the winner — each team shoots 1 free throw.
Forfeit & Ranking Rules
A team shall be deemed to have forfeited if, within 10 minutes of the scheduled game time, any of the following applies:
- The team has fewer than 5 players or is unable to take the court;
- The team fields an unregistered player;
- One side voluntarily withdraws from the game;
- One side disrupts the game, making it impossible to proceed (including players, coaches, or spectators).
The forfeiting team will be recorded as having lost 0:20, and will receive 0 points.
If 2 or more teams are tied on points, head-to-head results shall be the first tiebreaker; if still tied, overall goal difference across all group games shall apply.
Player Eligibility & Registration Deadline
- All players must complete registration and receive league confirmation before representing their team in any game.
- Each player may only register with one team per season.
- The deadline for submitting and amending rosters is the date and time specified in the league charter.
- Players added or changed after the deadline require written approval from the league; otherwise they are ineligible to play.
Insurance & Liability Disclaimer
- Teams and players are responsible for assessing their own physical condition and for their personal health and safety.
- All participants are strongly advised to purchase appropriate sports and personal injury insurance.
- The league assumes no liability for injuries, loss of property, or other damages arising from accidents during competition.
- By registering, teams agree to and accept this liability disclaimer.
Rescheduling Policy
- Rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 72 hours before the scheduled game time, along with a stated reason.
- A reschedule requires agreement from both teams and the league to take effect.
- The number of reschedules allowed per team and any additional arrangements are subject to the league's seasonal announcements.
- Failure to follow the proper rescheduling procedure and absence from a game will be treated as a forfeit.
Adverse Weather Policy
- If the Hong Kong Observatory issues Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, games will be suspended or postponed.
- Whether games proceed as scheduled will be determined by the league's official announcement before or on game day.
- Makeup dates and arrangements for weather-affected games will be announced by the league as soon as possible.
