🏆 Division System (New for Season 2)

Season 2 aims to feature 2 or more Divisions. Teams compete within their Division during the regular season; standings then determine which teams advance to the Playoffs.

• Each Division maintains its own standings; top-ranked teams advance to the Playoffs.
• The number of Divisions depends on the final number of registered teams; the league reserves the right to adjust.
• Division assignments will be announced after the registration deadline.

Competition Format

• Each team plays a minimum of 5 games across regular season and Playoffs combined (more games targeted).
• Top teams in each Division advance to the Playoffs based on regular season standings.
• Win = 3 pts  |  Draw = 2 pts  |  Loss = 1 pt  |  Forfeit = 0 pts.
• Each game is divided into 4 quarters of 10 minutes each.
• Running clock except during timeouts; clock stops in the final 2 minutes of Q4 on dead balls.
• Regular season ties — no overtime; both teams receive 2 points.
• Playoff overtime: 2 minutes; if still tied, golden free throw — each team shoots 1 free throw to determine the winner.

Registration Fees

Early bird deadline and full details will be announced via official channels. Payment instructions will be provided upon registration.

Forfeits & Ranking Rules

A team will be deemed to have forfeited if, within 10 minutes after the scheduled tip-off time:

• The team has fewer than 5 eligible players or cannot take the court;
• An unregistered player is fielded;
• One team voluntarily withdraws from the game;
• One team causes a disturbance making it impossible to continue (including players, coaches, or spectators).

The forfeiting team receives a 0–20 loss and 0 points.

If two or more teams are level on points, head-to-head results determine the regular season ranking; if still equal, overall goal differential decides the ranking.

Player Eligibility & Registration Deadline

• All players must be registered and confirmed by the league before they may represent their team.
• The deadline for submitting and amending rosters is the date and time specified in the official league announcement.
• Players added or changed after the deadline require written approval from the league; otherwise they are ineligible to play.

Insurance & Liability Disclaimer

• All teams and players are responsible for assessing their own physical condition and personal safety.
• All participants are advised to obtain appropriate sports and personal accident insurance.
• The league accepts no liability for injuries, property loss, or other damages arising from accidents during matches.
• Registering for the league constitutes agreement to and acceptance of this disclaimer.

Match Rescheduling

• Reschedule requests must be submitted at least 72 hours before the original tip-off time with a stated reason.
• A reschedule is only confirmed once both teams and the league have agreed in writing.
• The number of reschedule requests allowed per team and any additional arrangements will be as announced by the league for each season.
• Failure to follow the proper reschedule process and missing a game will be treated as a forfeit.

Inclement Weather Policy

• Games will be suspended or postponed if the Hong Kong Observatory issues Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning.
• Whether a game proceeds as scheduled will be determined by the league's official announcement before or on match day.
• Makeup dates for weather-affected fixtures will be announced by the league as soon as possible.
